I created L. Marie Sales, now BLVD Showroom, in 2016 after leaving the world of fashion in New York City for Boston. I was introduced to Free People Wholesale during my college internship at a specialty boutique in Newport, Rhode Island. After graduation I opened and managed a Free People Retail location in Connecticut and a year later chased my dream and left for the city to work at Free People's Wholesale Showroom. Years later, I manage the collections I love in Connecticut with my four pawed assistants, Layla and Basil and now my mini, Grayson.
Meet the team:
Chloe Mamaclay is an account executive at Blvd Showroom where she helps manage the brands Free People and Beach Riot for the New England region.
She is a recent graduate from Fairfield University where she studied Marketing and minored in Graphic Design and Psychology. She completed her Fashion Marketing Concentration while she was abroad in Florence, Italy. She had previously worked in retail where her love for sales and fashion began. Her favorite part of working at Blvd Showroom is the amazing team she’s apart of and traveling for trade shows.
Outside of work she loves to read, spend time with family and friends, and host dinner parties!
Taylor Plourd is an ccount Executive at BLVD Showroom, where she manages the Northeast region for Tkees, Vitamin A, and RicherPoorer. She graduated from West Virginia University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion, Dress, and Merchandising, along with minors in Public Relations and Dance. While at WVU, Taylor served as President of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and was a dancer in the WVU Dance Program for all four years.
After graduation, Taylor moved to New York City to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She gained valuable experience as a Marketing Partnerships Manager at a Soho-based jewelry company, while also interning seasonally for fashion designers during NYFW! At 23, she returned to her hometown in Connecticut to continue her professional growth with BLVD Showroom.
Outside of work, Taylor is passionate about traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends!
Melissa real is a junior account executive, she graduated from University of Delaware in 2022 with a BS in Fashion Merchandising & Management. After college, Melissa moved to NYC and worked in Merchandise Planning & E-Commerce for various designer labels such as Bonpoint and Ulla Johnson. After her time in the city Melissa decided to move back home to CT, where she worked as a Marketing Assistant for a consultancy based out of Fairfield County. Melissa has always had a passion for fashion and client services so BLVD showroom ended up being the perfect fit!
When she’s not a BLVD, Melissa enjoys cooking for her friends and family, playing/teaching tennis & cuddling with her dog!
Gabriela Figueroa is a sales coordinater on multiple brands, gabriela is A creative, city-loving fashion professional, she has a passion for visual storytelling, merchandising, and brand experience. Gabriela graduated from LIM College in New York City in 2023 and later returned to her hometown in Connecticut, where she continued to build a well-rounded background in retail leadership and fashion marketing. She brings both strategy and style to everything she does.
Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys traveling, cooking new recipes, styling friends and family for fun, and spending quality time with her favorite people — including her dog, Nala. Creativity fuels her both professionally and personally.
